Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Brandon Tivis has a special connection to the practice he now calls home. His orthodontic journey began as a young patient of Dr. Ed Wentz at Wentz Orthodontics. Years later, he returned as an orthodontic assistant, working alongside Dr. Wentz and developing a passion for creating beautiful, confident smiles.
Today, Dr. Tivis has come full circle, practicing orthodontics in the very same office where he once had his own braces. He is proud to carry on the legacy Dr. Wentz built while serving the community that helped shape him.
Outside the office, Dr. Tivis enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children either traveling or watching his girls compete in cheerleading. For him, orthodontics is more than straightening teeth—it’s about building relationships, creating confidence, and giving back to the community he has always called home

My appointment was timely and the dental assistant was friendly. The new Orthodontist was approachable, I saw him in the hallway before I was seated, we spoke to each other and we both smiled.That means a lot in a world were customer service has waned.The office is always clean and efficiently run.I would highly recommend Sperry, Tivis, & Wentz Family Orthodontist.

We have seen several different orthodontists , and Sperry, Tivis, & Wentz by far have been the best! They have treated all four of our girls. They were quick to take care of my daughter when she was diagnosed with brain cancer, and needed her braces taken off for MRI’s then quickly got her in to Invisalign. We are very pleased with the services provided!
